English presentation skills for Japanese scholars:Improving pronunciation and the appeal of presentations

The University of Shizuoka Language and Communication Research Center, together with the Graduate School of the Faculty of International Relations, is sponsoring a public workshop on English presentation skills for scholars.

High school and university instructors (both English and Japanese native speakers welcome)

Workshop content
1. Overview and practice of effective English presentation skills
2. Techniques for teaching English presentation skills
3. Open discussion about particular problems with English presentations
Note: If you have presentation slides of your own, please bring them for discussion purposes.
(Slides made by students are also welcome.)
