The International Affairs Center was established at the University of Shizuoka on April 1, 2019 to promote the globalization of the university.

The Center covers most of the university's international affairs including inter-university agreements, student exchanges, scholarship assistance, and counseling foreign students as well as offering opportunities for collaborative online international learning (COIL) with our counterparts.

Dr. Akihiro Okumura, Vice President of the university and the first Director of the International Affairs Center, emphasized that the Center would advance our university's globalization from now on.
