In response to the major earthquake that struck Turkey on February 6 2023, exchange students from Turkey and students of the University of Shizuoka, along with the Wider Europe Research Center (WERC), organized activities to collect relief donations.
The donations were collected from February 8, 2023 (Wed.) to February 28, 2023 (Tue.). We were fortunately able to collect 593,836 yen and sent the entire amount to the Embassy of Turkey.
We will continue to conduct to collect relief donations for Turkey.
