The NHK World program “STATELESS: The Japanese Left Behind in the Philippines,” aired internationally on September 27, 2025, was produced with the cooperation of the research team led by Professor Michiyo Yoneno-Reyes of the School of International Relations. (JSPS Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B) “Commercial Activities of Japanese Nationals in the U.S.-Occupied Philippines and the Digitization of Related Materials from the Osaka Trading Company” [24K03167]).
The program features footage analyzed by Professor Yoneno-Reyes’ research team. It is available on demand until September 26, 2026.
