Students and faculty members from Mae Fah Luang University in Thailand visit the President as a courtesy for the fiscal year 2025

Two students and two faculty members from Mae Fah Luang University in Thailand, who are currently in Japan for a tourism fieldwork project titled "Discovering Shizuoka's Gastronomy and Tourism," paid a courtesy visit to President Yasuyuki Imai on December 16th, 2025.
President Imai welcomed the group, expressing his hopes that they enjoy their stay in Japan and discover new experiences. During their discussion, they engaged in lively conversations about the Shimizu day tour, the Umegashima’s gastronomical tea tourism learning program, and Shizuoka's famous wasabi.
The students shared their impressions, stating, "Mount Fuji was so beautiful," and "I'm glad we had the opportunity to try matcha."
Before returning home on December 21st, the group will exchange ideas with students during Associate Professor Dr. Amnaj Khaokhrueamuang's seminar in the School of Management and Informatics. They also plan to visit the Mount Fuji World Heritage Center and Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine. This exchange is expected to foster deeper ties between Thailand and Japan.
