Four faculty members from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Mahidol University in Thailand visited our university and paid a courtesy call on President Yasuyuki Imai. Since signing an inter-university exchange agreement in 2011, our university and Mahidol University have continued to strengthen our partnership. Currently, the two universities are preparing to conclude a departmental exchange agreement with a view to promoting student exchanges between the faculties of pharmacy, which led to this visit.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Imai stated, “We have engaged in active exchanges thus far, and we hope to further deepen our collaboration through initiatives such as student exchange programs.”
During the discussion, the participants exchanged views on the educational programs of both universities and the career paths of their graduates. Prior to the courtesy visit, faculty members from the two universities’ faculties of pharmacy also held a meeting to discuss future collaboration in education and research.
Our university will continue to further strengthen its partnership with Mahidol University.
