The international exchange event “Global Mosaic Gathering,” organized by the student club IFC (International Friendship Club), was held a total of three times during the first semester of the 2026 academic year.
The event aims to promote intercultural exchange by providing opportunities for international students to introduce their home cultures through presentations, Q&A sessions, games, and various interactive activities.
During the first semester, exchange students from France, Spain, and Italy, who live in Fugakuryo, the university’s international student dormitory, introduced their countries’ cultures, customs, and lesser-known attractions that are not often encountered in everyday life.
The sessions also featured hands-on activities, including a flamenco lesson, in which Japanese students actively participated. The venue was filled with smiles and lively energy throughout, providing a fun and engaging opportunity for students to experience and learn about different cultures.
Each session attracted a large number of students, who enjoyed interacting with the exchange students while deepening their understanding of different cultures. Global Mosaic Gathering provides a valuable space for students to learn about one another’s cultures, make new discoveries, and build connections.
Through this event, students had the opportunity to discover diverse cultures, make new connections, and broaden their perspectives on the world.
